HewSaw is the main industrial employer in Mäntyharju and today we were introducing our summer vacancies in the local school. HewSaw offers around 20 vacancies every summer and many local kids and students has started their working career at HewSaw.Currently, in Finland alone, HewSaw has around 200 employees and the HewSaw Group employs almost 300 people in total around the globe.

HewSaw has started a new investment at the factory in Mäntyharju. This enlargement of the paint shop will increase the floor space and the capacity of the shop with a new workspace for grain blasting and painting area for the machine frames.

Investment is part of The Sawing Machine Plant 2025 project, which has got support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Colville Sawmill and Vaagen Timber CLT plant.After the visits, group crossed the Canadian border and continued towards Midway, BC.
